Q.  Can you tell me if this part is just a switch output, I.e. the joystick is simply an (on)-off-(on) switch and power power button is a latching on-off switch.
A.  Yes, the joystick itslef is a simple (on)-off-(on) type rather than a progressive type of input. The power button itself when pressed will switch the panel on or off with a single short press though it does not latch into position.
