Meridian Zero Porthole Barometer - Medium - BrassThe Porthole Range of barometers is made of solid unlacquered brass with an opening latch and bevelled glass. The barometer has an adjustment mechanism, as in addition to changes associated with weather patterns, barometric pressure also changes with altitude – decreasing the higher you are. It is necessary to adjust your barometer accordingly by turning the screw on the back. A barometer should be sited with good airflow around it, not by an air-conditioning unit or heater.
