Coast's XPH-R range introduces head torch specifications that would have been unheard of just a couple of years ago, certainly at these prices. However, the stand-out benefit is the clever dual power system that lets you swap the inbuilt rechargeable battery for standard batteries if you can't get to a charging point, and remaining battery life is indicated with a coloured glow from the power button.
