South Pacific WA1100 Vertical Windlass - Alu Base - 1100W - 8 mmSouth Pacific WA1100 series is designed for boats from 28ft to 42ft or to handle an anchor up to 18kg. The power unit is held horizontally and beneath the deck which reduces the space requirement of the unit but at the cost of a more complex gear box and power efficiency. The unit benefits from an improved self-locking worm gear box which gives it high stress capacity and can also can reduce power consumption by up to 15%. The power unit can be oriented in one of eight horizontal positions. A built in torque limiter absorbs sudden impacts to deliver a smoother operation and greater reliability. Available with an 8mm stainless steel gypsy.
